Singer Rakshita Suresh, who recently lent her voice to Peddi's 'Hellallallo,' received a pleasant surprise from her frequent collaborator and mentor, veteran music composer AR Rahman. The singer, who performed the song at the Ram Charan film's pre-release event in Vijayawada, was met with a pleasant surprise shortly after.

On Tuesday, the playback singer took to her official Instagram handle to share a video of her singing in front of the film's lead cast, Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, being elated about having gotten the opportunity to perform on stage on her birthday. Shortly after, the video shows her walking into her room, only to be surprised by the film's music composer, AR Rahman, with a birthday cake.

Sharing the video, she wrote in the caption, "A birthday I won’t forget in my entire life!! I was so grateful, thinking I was going to spend my birthday this year performing my newly released and hugely loved song #Hellallallo at the #Peddi pre-release event, but little did I know Rahman Sir had another surprise planned for me after the show!!!! Grateful beyond words. Thank you, dear AR Rahman sir, for making my 28th birthday so incredibly precious, unforgettable, and immensely special!!!! Thanks to my gang of annas for not even giving me the tiniest hint of this beautiful surprise till the very moment!"

The 'Hellallallo' song from Peddi features Shruti Haasan along with Janhvi Kapoor and Ram Charan lighting up the screen with their energetic dance moves. AR Rahman and Anantha Sreeram have also sung the song along with Rakshita.

Peddi is billed as an intense rural action drama that has already generated huge curiosity among audiences. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film unfolds on a rugged and emotionally charged backdrop, promising a blend of raw action, emotions, and grandeur. The film is set to open in theatres on June 4.

Rakshita emerged as the first runner-up of Super Singer 6 in 2018. Some of her popular songs composed by Rahman include 'Kaalathukkam Nee Venum' from Vendu Thanindhadhu Kaadu, 'Sol' from Ponniyin Selvan, and 'Kodi Parakura Kaalam' from Maamannan.
