After his public announcement of retiring from playback singing, Arijit Singh had kept a low profile on social media. On Wednesday, the singer finally made another post for his fans, penning an emotional note about ‘a few unfinished songs’ that his fans will get to hear soon.

Taking to his X page, Arijit firstly thanked his fans, writing, “This message is just for my listeners Hello beautiful people!  I just want to tell you all that I love you. Thank you so much for your kindness in this ruthless world.”

While confirming that he hasn’t taken any new assignments, Arijit shared that the list of pending is still huge nonetheless. He added, “I will have to complete a lot of songs. Don’t involve into explaining people,  How many times will you? there are so many unfinished songs, they are gonna keep releasing until done. May be through this whole year. may be it will touch next year too.”

On a concluding note, Arijit advised his fans to take care of their physical and mental health, adding, “Read love meditate.”

Incidentally, Arijit’s new single ‘Ek Din’ was released earlier this week, composed by Ram Sampath for the Junaid Khan-Sai Pallavi starrer Ek Din.
