Amid the news of Arijit Singh’s retirement from playback singing, the singer has now collaborated with Salman Khan and Iulia Vantur for a new non-film single, titled ‘Tere Sang.’ On Friday, the makers released a brief teaser of the song video.
Composed by Vaishnavi Sharma, the romantic single is a composition for the short film Echoes Of Us, directed by Joe Rajan. Echoes of Us features Deepak Tijori and Iulia Vantir, who can also be seen in the promo released today.
While the song has been launched under Salman Khan Films Music, Sony Music India holds the license for music distribution. The full song will be released tomorrow, on February 7.
It is to be noted that Arijit and Salman famously had a fallout in 2016 after a witty banter at an awards function went wrong. After the spat, many of Arijit’ songs from Salman starrer films Sultan were dropped on. The two collaborated next only 7 years later, for the 2023 film Tiger 3.
Incidentally, Arijit lent his vocals to ‘Maatrubhumi,’ the recently-released single from Salman Khan starrer Battle of Galwan. The war-drama is currently scheduled to release on April 17.
