The Television Academy and CBS have unveiled a star-packed roster of presenters for the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards. Among the names stepping onstage Sunday night are Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria), Jenna Ortega (Wednesday), Sterling K Brown (Paradise), Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU), Tina Fey (Four Seasons), and Stephen Colbert (The Late Show).
This year’s ceremony will be hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze and broadcast live from the Peacock Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS. The show will also be available for streaming on Paramount+ for select subscribers.
The impressive presenter lineup extends well beyond the headliners. Viewers can expect appearances from Elizabeth Banks, Angela Bassett, Jason Bateman, Kathy Bates, Kristen Bell, Alexis Bledel, Jennifer Coolidge, Alan Cumming, Colman Domingo, Eric Dane, Walton Goggins, Tony Goldwyn, Lauren Graham, Kathryn Hahn, Justin Hartley, Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law, James Marsden, Christopher Meloni, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Parker Posey, Jeff Probst, Phylicia Rashad, Hiroyuki Sanada, Anna Sawai, Michael Schur, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Williams, and Catherine Zeta-Jones, among many others.
In addition to the awards, the evening will spotlight Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen, who will jointly receive the Television Academy’s Bob Hope Humanitarian Award. The honour recognises “a lifetime of extraordinary philanthropy, activism and unwavering commitment to global good… two luminaries whose off-screen legacy shines as bright as their decades of celebrated television work.”
The ceremony follows last weekend’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards, where Apple TV+’s The Studio led the pack with nine wins. HBO Max’s The Penguin followed closely with eight, NBC’s SNL50: The Anniversary Special earned seven, Severance claimed six, while Andor, Arcane, Love, Death + Robots and The Traitors all took home four each.
For the third year in a row, Jesse Collins Entertainment — led by Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay — will produce the broadcast.
