Megan Fox has been added to the star-studded cast of director Emma Tammi’s upcoming horror film Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. In the sequel to 2023's Five Nights at Freddy’s, Fox is set to voice the character Toy Chica. The news about the casting broke during producer Jason Blum’s BlumFest panel at New York Comic-Con on October 10, Friday. The event celebrated many upcoming Blumhouse projects, which include Black Phone 2. Universal Pictures and Blumhouse also revealed additional new voice cast members at the event; MatPat and Kellen Goff are set to voice Toy Bonnie and Toy Freddy, respectively.
Director Tammi returns to helm the project. The sequel also brings back Josh Hutcherson, who stars in the 2023 original as a security guard at the pizzeria. Matthew Lillard, Piper Rubio and Elizabeth Lail are also part of the sequel's cast. The studio is yet to clarify the names of the mechanical beasts that are coming back for the Five Nights at Freddy’s sequel. However, it shared a new tagline that reads, “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances.”
The original Five Nights at Freddy’s, based on a popular video game of the same name, hit theatres in October 2023, and it reportedly raked in $297 million globally.
Most recently, Fox appeared alongside Michele Morrone in the thriller Subservience and the comedy series Overcompensating.
