Millie Bobby Brown shares first glimpse of daughter
Millie Bobby Brown has officially entered a new chapter in her life: motherhood. The Stranger Things star recently shared the first photo of her adopted baby girl, giving fans a heartwarming glimpse into her growing family with husband Jake Bongiovi.
The picture, posted as part of a carousel on Instagram, shows the couple beaming as they gaze lovingly at their baby, whose tiny hand is visible. The post was simply captioned, “my t swift october”, a subtle nod to Taylor Swift and the month that seems to hold special meaning for Brown.
Brown, who married Bongiovi in a private ceremony in May 2024, first revealed their adoption news in August. “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” she wrote at the time. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were three. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”
Hints about the couple’s growing family began surfacing earlier this year when Brown shared a playful post in July—a photo of Jake pushing a stroller—captioned, “helluva summer thus far.”
The young star had been open about her desire to start a family long before she met Jake. Speaking on the Smartless podcast, she shared, “Since I was a baby, I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me. Jake knows how important it is to me.” She added, “I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and producer, but I also find it's so important to start a family.”
Brown emphasised that adoption was always part of her vision for motherhood. “I'm one of four. He's one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don't see having your own child as really any different from adopting,” she said. “My home is full of love for anyone and anything. The door is always open, and we want everyone to feel really comfortable.”
The couple, who began dating in 2021 and got engaged in April 2023, continue to share glimpses of their life together—now with a little one completing their circle.
