Meghamsh Srihari is playing the lead role in the upcoming film Aasmaan. Directed by Ram Nandhan, the film is produced by Kondaru Venkatesh and Srikanth Mannem under Sri Klin Kaara Celluloids. The teaser of the film is out now, and it is touted to be a mystic thriller. Rayancha is playing the female lead opposite Meghamsh.
Interestingly, apart from Telugu, the film is also being planned for release in other languages, including Arabic. Director Ram Nandhan had earlier directed an Arabic film and has a strong presence in the Middle East. His Arabic film Samboosa Chapathi became a huge hit there, and with that success, the makers of Aasmaan decided to release this Telugu film in Arabic as well.
The director said that the teaser is just the beginning of the mystery they have been building since the motion poster was released sometime back. “I would like to thank our producers Venkatesh garu and Srikanth garu for giving me this opportunity and supporting the team throughout. Our hero Meghamsh Srihari is a perfect combination of talent and dedication. The mystery of Aasmaan begins with this teaser, and we will reveal more as we move towards the release. Prashanth garu’s BGM has elevated the teaser tremendously,” said the director.
He also specially praised the female lead, Rayancha. “She is a talented Telugu girl and delivered a wonderful performance in this film,” added the director.
Meghamsh is playing a recovery agent in the film, and according to him, the story moves at a very fast pace with a fresh concept for Telugu cinema. “My role offers a lot of scope for performance and it is enjoyable but also demanding. The hard work made the experience feel completely worth it,” said Meghamsh.
Female lead Rayancha said that she has admired actor Srihari since childhood. “I liked both the story and my character in Aasmaan. I have admired Srihari garu since childhood, so getting the opportunity to work with his son also made it special,” she said.
