This Tuesday marks Pooja Hegde's birthday. Several of the actor's fans and industry colleagues have been wishing her on the special day. Among of the well wishers is actor Dulquer Salmaan, who makes his first film collaboration with her for the upcoming Sri Sri.
Taking to his Instagram Stories space, Dulquer tagged Pooja Hegde and wrote, "Wishing you the happiest of birthdays Puglia !! Besides being an awesome and fun co-actor, it's been great to meet a fellow Geek!"
Pooja is known for her affinity for video games, music, and Indian and international films. Alluding to it, Dulquer added, "Learning what an insane audiophile and gamer you are and discussing cameras, music and cinema has been a riot."
Dulquer also praised his co-star's performance in the upcoming film, saying, "Cannot wait for the audience to see how incredible you are in Sri Sri. Have the best day !!"
In response to Dulquer, Pooja Hegde wrote, "Thank you Dulkesh, and thank you for this photo of me, my fellow nerd."
Sri Sri marks the directorial debut of Ravi Nelakuditi, and it also stars Dheekshith Shetty and Ramya Krishnan. The film brings Pooja back to Telugu cinema after 2022's Acharya.
Pooja was most recently seen in films such as Jana Nayagan and Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. Speaking of which, Pooja's Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai co-star Varun Dhawan also wished her on her birthday. "Pooja, it's your birthday, so I have to be only nice for one day," Varun shared in a tongue-in-cheek manner. He added, "In all seriousness, I wish you get everything you want and keep being the brightest soul I know too many more Aartis together."
Besides Sri Sri, Pooja Hegde's upcoming films also include Kanchana 4, the fourth instalment in Raghava Lawrence's longstanding horror franchise.
