Director Guru Saravanan, a former associate of veteran filmmaker KS Ravikumar, made his debut with the critically acclaimed Koogle Kuttappa, which was produced by Ravikumar himself. With Ego Raja, his third directorial venture, Saravanan is aiming to deliver his most ambitious film yet. With dual protagonists and an intense storyline, the film is expected to showcase his evolving filmmaking style.

Aadi Sai Kumar, riding high on the success of Shambhala, is also making his Tamil debut with this film. Meanwhile, Sathish, who has transitioned from supporting roles to lead performances in films like Conjuring Kannappan and Sattam En Kaiyil, will be seen in a high-octane action role.
