Director Anil Ravipudi has been delivering back-to-back hits since his debut film Pataas to his recent release Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. Now, he is teaming up with Venkatesh for the fifth time, and this project also marks the reunion of Anil with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram after Pataas.
The much-awaited entertainer is all set to begin its regular shoot from Monday. Produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, the film is presented by Suresh Productions, Archana, and Zee Studios. Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty are playing the female leads opposite Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram.
The project was officially launched recently with a grand pooja ceremony, and now the makers have announced the beginning of regular shooting in Hyderabad through a fun promotional video.
Anil Ravipudi, who has created a special identity for himself with innovative film promotions, once again impressed audiences with his creative approach. Known for making every update entertaining and engaging, the director came up with another interesting idea this time.
In the video, Anil Ravipudi is seen interacting with his team and jokingly talking about how fans appreciate his promotional style. He humorously says that fans consider him a master of promotions and gifted him a sword along with a ‘Veera Tilakam’ (mark of bravery).
However, the video takes an unexpected twist when Venkatesh uses the sword to make a small cut on Anil Ravipudi’s thumb and applies the ‘Veera Tilakam’ as a mark of honour.
Later, Kalyan Ram, Keerthy Suresh, Krithi Shetty, and music director GV Prakash Kumar also perform the same gesture. The fun-filled video officially marks the beginning of the team’s journey.
Another interesting detail revealed through the video is that the film is set against a Rayalaseema backdrop. However, the makers clarified that it will be a complete entertainer with strong commercial elements.
The film features a talented technical team. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music, while Sameer Reddy is handling cinematography, Thammi Raju is taking care of editing, and AS Prakash is the art director. S Krishna is working as the executive producer.
