The release of Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin has been postponed for a third time now. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu and featuring Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead, the film was earlier scheduled to release on June 26. However, the makers have now officially announced that it will arrive in theatres on July 10 instead.
Produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banners of Manam Enterprises LLP and Sithara Entertainments, Lenin is one of the most awaited films of Akhil’s career. The makers decided to push the release date to ensure a better output and a special theatrical experience for audiences.
Producer Nagarjuna announced the new release date through his official X account. He stated that the team requested additional time to complete the film with their best efforts and deliver the desired output.
“Lenin team approached me with a request. They wanted some more time to create a special film with their 100 per cent efforts. Looking at their passion and spirit, I agreed. Our guy is coming on July 10. I am saying this once again — you are going to see a new Akhil. Get ready for the Lenin experience,” said Nagarjuna.
Nagarjuna also assured fans that audiences will witness Akhil Akkineni in a completely new avatar with this film.
The posters and songs released so far have generated good curiosity among audiences. The makers believe that this decision will help them present a better version of the film. The promotional campaign has already started, and it is expected to gain more momentum as the release date gets closer.
Thaman is composing the music for the film, and the songs along with the background score are expected to play a key role in enhancing the cinematic experience. Leon Britto is handling the cinematography, while Naveen Nooli is the editor.
