Annapurna Studios, one of the leading production houses in Telugu cinema, has been actively collaborating with other banners to back promising films. The studio recently released Suriya-starrer Karuppu in Telugu, followed by the Malayalam film Balan: The Boy in its Telugu version. It also co-produced Lenin with Sithara Entertainments, starring Akhil Akkineni. The film has emerged as a superhit and is still going strong at the box office.
Now, Annapurna Studios has joined hands with EPIC Studios for a concept-based film titled Pallaburusu. Sudhakar Reddy and Muralidhar Goud play the lead roles in the film, which is directed by Uday Chauhan. The banner officially announced the project with its first-look poster and confirmed that Pallaburusu will hit the screens on August 14, 2026.
To mark the announcement, the makers unveiled a striking first-look poster that offers a glimpse into the film's unique concept. Rooted in regional culture, Pallaburusu promises a refreshing blend of comedy and drama. The film stars Sudhakar Reddy and Muralidhar Goud as father and son, while Prajwal Yadma and Gomathy Reddy play key roles.
The first-look poster features the two lead characters sitting back-to-back on a giant toothbrush designed like a balancing scale outside a district courtroom. The intriguing visual leaves audiences curious about the story behind Pallaburusu.
The film is written and directed by Uday Chauhan and is jointly presented and produced by Annapurna Studios and EPIC Studios. Aditya Pittie and Vivek Krishnani are producing the film on behalf of EPIC Studios.
The technical team includes cinematographer Vinod K Bangari, music composer Pawan CH, and production designer Kshitij Jeevan Randhir.
