Lenin Movie Review: A regular revenge drama

Lenin is a crucial film in Akhil Akkineni's career. Despite trying different genres in his previous six films, the actor couldn't score a major commercial success. With Lenin, he finally appears to have found the breakthrough he had been waiting for.

At the film's success meet, Nagarjuna remarked that Akhil had always worked hard and reached the goal every time, but somehow couldn't "score the goal." His previous film, Agent, directed by Surender Reddy and co-starring Mammootty, failed at the box office.

After waiting nearly three years, Akhil returned with Lenin, and despite receiving mixed reviews, the film has managed to attract audiences and post encouraging numbers over its opening weekend.

The real test, however, begins now. While the weekend collections have been impressive, it remains to be seen whether the film can sustain the same momentum from Monday onwards and continue its successful run at the box office.

Apart from Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse, the film also features Pramod, a Kannada actor who makes his Telugu debut and delivers an impressive performance. Sivaji, Brahmaji, Getup Srinu, Shatru, Eswari Rao, Praveen, Mahesh Achanta, and several others play pivotal roles in the film.
