The makers of Sree Vishnu’s upcoming investigative thriller Mrithyunjay recently announced that the film will hit theatres on February 27. Reba Monica John plays the female lead, while the film is directed by Hussain Sha Kiran. The teaser was unveiled by filmmaker SS Rajamouli.
Interestingly, the actor’s other film, Vishnu Vinyasam, is scheduled for release on February 28 — just a day after Mrithyunjay.
Directed by debutant Yadunaath Maruthi Rao, Vishnu Vinyasam is positioned as a lively entertainer. Nayana Sarika stars as the female lead, and the film is produced by Sumanth Naidu G under the Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas banner.
The makers confirmed the February 28 release date by unveiling a new poster and a song from the film. In the poster, Sree Vishnu is seen relaxing on a classic bike, sporting funky printed shorts, a colourful shirt, and shades — exuding a carefree vibe.
In Vishnu Vinyasam, Sree Vishnu plays a young man who is heavily influenced by superstitions, horoscopes, and quirky beliefs. Promotions are already in full swing, with a title glimpse, an introductory track, and a romantic single released for Valentine’s Day.
The film also features a strong supporting cast, including Satya, Brahmaji, Praveen, Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyengar, Satyam Rajesh, Srinivas Vadlamani, and Goparaju Ramana. Music is composed by Radhan, while cinematography is handled by Sai Sriram.
