After a long gap, JD Chakravarthy is returning with an important role in Gaayapadda Simham. Directed by Kasyap Sreenivas, the film is produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni and Umesh Bansal under the banners of Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories and Zee Studios.
Tharun Bhascker’s quirky modern entertainer Gaayapadda Simham has been generating solid buzz with every update — from the trailer to the promotional track, and most recently, the vibrant bride song. The film is presented by Pavan Sadineni, while Faria Abdullah and Maanasa Choudhary play the female leads.
The makers have now unveiled another key character from the film — JD Chakravarthy as Brutal Dharma — through a new glimpse. True to his name, the glimpse introduces him as a chilling yet stylish antagonist.
His look, featuring sharp outfits, dark shades and a chunky gold chain, exudes swagger, while his performance brings back a retro gangster vibe.
The glimpse also hints that Dharma is involved in illegal logistics, drugs and weapons through a company called Satya Logistics. JD Chakravarthy’s savage makeover, commanding screen presence, attitude and retro flair make Brutal Dharma one of the film’s major highlights.
Gaayapadda Simham is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on May 1.
