Director-turned-actor Tharun Bhascker has joined hands with debutant director Kasyap Sreenivas for the unique and contemporary entertainer Gaayapadda Simham. The film is presented by Pavan Sadineni and produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni and Umesh Bansal under the banners of Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories and Zee Studios. Faria Abdullah and Maanasa Choudhary are playing the female leads.
The makers had earlier released promotional content including the trailer and a catchy, quirky promotional song, both of which increased the buzz surrounding the film. On Wednesday, the team unveiled the second single titled 'Bride song'.
The latest track has been designed as a lively and entertaining pre-wedding number that captures the mood of a bride enjoying every moment before her big day. Composer Sweekar Agasthi has infused the song with trendy beats and a festive flavour. The English portions sung by him, along with the energetic Telugu lyrics penned by Shreemani, give the track a stylish and contemporary feel.
Faria Abdullah lights up the screen with her energetic dance moves and expressive performance, beautifully portraying the happiness of a bride stepping into a new phase of life. Adding more colour to the song, singer Manisha Eerabathini delivers refreshing vocals filled with energy and rhythm, making the track instantly appealing. Tharun Bhascker makes a cheerful appearance towards the end of the song and joins the celebrations with his own fun presence.
Gaayapadda Simham is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on May 1.
