In a stark contrast to his previous few films, Kiran Abbavaram promises to embrace a goofy and borderline-raunchy avatar in his next entertainer K-Ramp. The new trailer, unveiled on Friday, only confirms the same.
Written and directed by Jains Nani, K-Ramp follows the adventures of Kumaar, the mischievous black sheep of the family whose antics have kept everyone around distressed, including his father (Sai Kumar). Kumaar, against all odds and advices, falls in love with Mercy (Yukti Thareja), a girl from Kerala. What follows is a lot of mayhem and chaos, as Kumaar pursues his improbable love story.
K-Ramp promises to be an out-and-out comic entertainer, with loads of risque humour and boisterious 'boys-will-be-boys' energy. By the looks of it, K-Ramp unfolds against a youthful college backdrop in Kerala. The ensemble cast of K-Ramp features Vennela Kishore and Muralidhar Goud among others.
Chaitan Bharadwaj has composed music for the film. The technical crew of K-Ramp includes cinematographer Sateesh Reddy Masam, editor Chota K Prasad, production designer Brahma Kadali, and action choreographer Prithvi. Ravindra Raaja is credited as the dialogue writer. A few days ago, the team had released its new single ‘Kalale Kalale,’ an energetic number.
K-Ramp is being produced by Rajesh Danda and Shiva Bommak under the banners of Hasya Movies and Rudransh Celluloids. Set to release on October 18 on Diwali weekend, the Kiran Abbavaram starrer will clash against two other entertainers in similar genre — Priyadarshi starrer Mithra Mandali and Siddu Jonnalagadda’s Telusu Kada.
