Chandini Chowdary will next be seen in the comedy-drama Santhana Prapthirasthu, which also stars Vikranth as the male lead. A few days ago, the makers announced November 14 as the release date. On Monday, the new single from the film was unveiled
Armaan Malik is the playback singer for the said single, titled ‘Telusu Nee Kosame’, which is a breezy and heartwarming romantic number about the joy of a newly married couple, capturing the warm promises of new beginnings. The upbeat purcussion, strings section and lilting use of acoustics lend a sunny uplifting vibe to the song. Another interesting element in the song is the use of children's vocals in the latter part. Shreemani has penned the lyrics. Ajay Arasada is the music composer for Santhana Prapthirasthu.
Directed by Sanjeev Reddy, Santhana Prapthirasthu promises to capture, with a light-hearted touch, the travails of a newly married couple — Kalyani and Chaitanya -- who are struggling to have a baby. After he figures out he has a low sperm count, Chaitanya decides to fix things and as a personal challenge to turn things around within 100 days.
Vennela Kishore will be seen playing a know-it-all consultant who guides the couple. The ensemble cast includes many notable names like Tharun Bhascker, Abhinav Gomatam, Muralidhar Goud, Harsha Vardhan, Bindu Chandramouli, Jeevan Kumar, Satya Krishna, Thagubothu Ramesh, Abhay Bethiganti, Kireeti, and Anil Geela.
Besides helming direction, Sanjeev Reddy has also co-written story and screenplay with Sheik Dawood G. Kalyan Raghav, meanwhile, is credited for dialogues. Mahi Reddy Pandugula is the cinematographer and Sai Krishna Ganala is the editor. Production design is by Sivakumar Maccha.
Produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy, Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy, the film has been in the production stage for a long time. The title poster for the film was unveiled way back in May 2024. Later on, the makers had continued promotions for the film by sharing character posters for Abhinav Gomatam and Vennela Kishore, before abruptly stopping the promotions.
Chandini Chowdary, who had multiple releases last year with Gaami, Music Shop Murthy and Yevam, was last seen in a guest appearance in Balakrishna starrer Daaku Maharaaj.
