

Prabhas, who turns 46 today, has a big release scheduled for Sankranthi 2026 release with The Raja Saab. Billed as a horror comedy, the film marks Prabhas’ maiden collaboration with Maruthi. On Thursday, The Raja Saab makers unveiled a special poster on the occasion of Prabhas’ birthday.
The new poster features Prabhas seated atop a car, being greeted and welcomed by a huge crowd like the man of the hour. Prabhas’ attire too is distinctively different from his look in the teaser and trailer released earlier. People Media Factory, the production banner for the film, captioned the post, “Team wishes the man who turns cinema into a festival, #Prabhas a very Happy Birthday.”
The makers also informed that the first single from the film will be out soon, although no date was announced. Thaman S, who has had a successful year in 2025 with albums like Daaku Maharaaj, They Call Him OG, and Telusu Kada, is the composer for The Raja Saab.
The film also features Nidhhi Aggerwal in a prominent role, and marks Malavika Mohanan’s Telugu debut. The ensemble cast includes Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani.
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, The Raja Saab is confirmed to have a grand theatrical release on January 9, 2026. The Sankranthi weekend next year will seee many other big releases like Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu and Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju. Additionally, Vijay starrer Tamil Film Jana Nayagan too will release on January 9, which will make the box office journey for The Raja Saab much more challenging.
Meanwhile, the official title of Prabhas-Hanu Raghavapudi too was announced today. Also starring Imanvi, the film is titled Fauzi.
