Veteran Tamil actor, writer, and filmmaker Parthiban recently made a thoughtful gesture toward Ustaad Bhagat Singh director Harish Shankar. The actor, who plays a key role in the much-awaited Telugu action drama starring Pawan Kalyan, presented Harish with a specially signed memento as a token of appreciation on his final day of shooting.
In a video shared by the makers on social media, Harish Shankar is seen unboxing the gift and expressing his gratitude. “Thank you for this sweet gesture. I’m loving this,” he said with a smile. “It’s been an honour to work with a legend like you, sir — an actor, director, and writer I’ve long admired. You’ve been incredibly kind and cooperative throughout the shoot, and I’m sure audiences are going to love your performance in Ustaad Bhagat Singh.”
The team’s caption for the video reflected the warmth behind the exchange: “The legendary director and actor @rparthiepan Garu was super impressed with the brilliance of blockbuster director @harish2you and gifted him a special memento on his last work day of #UstaadBhagatSingh. This gesture has truly won hearts. Our CULT CAPTAIN #HarishShankar is putting in all his efforts to deliver the most celebrated and memorable film.”
The film, which marks another collaboration between Harish Shankar and Pawan Kalyan, has generated significant buzz. Earlier in July, the team had announced the completion of its high-octane climax sequence.
Produced on a grand scale by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, Ustaad Bhagat Singh features Sreeleela as the female lead. The technical team includes composer Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Ayananka Bose, and editor Ujjwal Kulkarni. The action choreography is handled by the Ram-Laxman duo, with Anand Sai as production designer. The screenplay is penned by K Dasharath, with additional writing by C Chandra Mohan.
