Shashtipoorthi’s fourth single ‘Veyi Venuvulu’ is a classical composition

The makers of Shashtipoorthi have released their fourth single titled ‘Veyi Venuvulu,’ a classical composition by Ilaiyaraaja, marking the composer’s return to a straight Telugu film. The song thematically captures the essence of Shashtipoorthi, the traditional 60-year milestone celebration, and is picturised on veteran actors Rajendra Prasad and Archana, who reunite on screen after 38 years since Ladies Tailor.

Sung by Karthik and Vibhavari Apte Joshi, with lyrics by Chaitanya Prasad and choreography by Swarna Master, director Nag Ashwin launched the track. The film is written and directed by Pavan Prabha.

Produced by Rupeysh Chowdary under the MAA AAIE Productions banner, Shashtipoorthi features Rupeysh and Aakanksha Singh in lead roles alongside Rajendra Prasad and Archana. The film is set for a theatrical release on May 30.

The family drama brings together an experienced technical crew, including art director Thota Tharani, costume designer Ayesha Mariyam, and editor Karthika Srinivas. Cinematography is handled by DOP Ram, and Shashtipoorthi also features Achyuth Kumar, Sanjay Swaroop, and Tenali Shakuntala among others.
