The makers of Thammudu, starring Nithiin and directed by Sriram Venu, released the film’s first single, ‘Bhuu Antuu Bhuutham’ on Tuesday. The song was launched at an event and is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, with vocals by Anurag Kulkarni and Akshitha Pola. The lyrics, written by Simhachalam Mannela, deliver an encouraging message to a young kid about facing fear with resilience.
The track from Thammudu is set in a sequence where Nithiin’s character, a maternal uncle, comforts and encourages his niece, played by Sriram Ditya. The visuals, featuring light choreography and emotive performances, portray a playful yet meaningful interaction that reflects the film’s underlying emotional themes.
Thammudu is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The film also stars Laya, Varsha Bollamma, Sapthami Gowda, Swasika, and Saurabh Sachdeva. Cinematography is by KV Guhan, with editing by Prawin Pudi.
Thammudu is set for a theatrical release on July 4. The film follows Nithiin’s character, an archer, who returns to his village to fulfil a promise made to his sister, portrayed by Laya. The narrative has Saurabh Sachdeva appearing as the antagonist.
