Director Murali Kanth's film Dhandoraa has opened in theatres to positive reviews from critics, and according to Sacnilk, a gross collection of 66 lakh at the worldwide box office. The latest to praise the film is model-actor Daksha Nagarkar. The other day, Daksha took to her Instagram Stories to share her Dhandoraa movie review. "Some films don't just entertain you, they stay with you. This one left me emotional and heavy-hearted in the most beautiful way," the actor wrote about the film, starring Sivaji, Navdeep, Shree Nandu, Ravi Krishna, Bindu Madhavi, Mounica, Manika, and Raadhya, among others. According to Daksha Nagarkar, the film has an ending that she did not anticipate and a way of telling its story that took her by surprise. The actor also conveyed her respect for the whole team behind the film, including its producer Benny Muppaneni, for making what she called an "impactful" film.
The film has been making the headlines over the last few days following its lead actor Sivaji's controversial comments about actresses' attire at one of its pre-release events. While the actor has apologised for his comments, he also said that they were "misunderstood".
