We had earlier reported that the makers of Baahubali are planning a grand global release for their film on October 31 this year. On Tuesday, the makers released a special re-release teaser for their film.
Even though the new teaser featutres familiar visuals, the makers of Baahubali have promised that the re-release cut, titled Baahubali: the epic which is a 4-hour single cut combining both parts of the series, will contain a few unreleased scenes, which weren’t part of the original.
It also remains to be seen which parts SS Rajamouli chooses to remove, so as to make a crisper edit while retaining the narrative integrity of his pathbreaking epic that changed the course for Indian cinema. With it’s worldwide re-release, the makers of Baahubali hope to attain a new level of recognition, especially from global film-lovers who are fans of RRR but aren’t very familiar with other works of SS Rajamouli.
Baahubali series marked the 10th feature project in Rajamouli’s career, also launching Prabhas a pan-India star and making actors like Sathyaraj and Rana Daggubati household names in Hindi belt as well. Additionally, the film starred prominent names like Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Nasser in the lead cast.
Incidentally, the first instalment of the two-part epic completed 10 years of its release last month.
