Satyam Rajesh, who starred in the recent horror comedy Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi, will soon be seen headlining the thriller-drama Tenant. The makers of the film released its official trailer at a grand launch ceremony on Friday.
The trailer for Tenant begins with the visuals of a newly married couple (played by Satyam Rajesh and Chandana Payaavula), who look happy together in domestic bliss. However, events take a sharp turn as the husband, Gowtham, finds himself a prime suspect after his wife is found murdered.
The film's supporting cast includes names like Chandana Payaavula, Aadukalam Naren, and Ramya Kolthuri. Sahityya Sagar has composed the music for the thriller-drama. Jemin Jom Ayyaneth is the cinematographer. The editing is by Vijay Mukthavarapu, and art direction is by Karakarala Chandra Mouli and 8pm Sai Kumar.
Director Y Yugandhar has also penned the screenplay and dialogue for the film, while the story is written by YS Srinivasa Varma. Additionally, Rohin Kumar Yeturi has been credited as an associate writer.
Produced by Mogulla Chandrashekhar Reddy under the banner of Mahaateja Creations, Tenant is slated for a theatrical release on April 19.
