While promoting Paradha, Anupama Parameswaran became emotional during a media interaction in Vijayawada. Asked about her reception as the film’s lead, she said, “It’s my privilege that people are treating me like a hero. I am embracing it.”

However, she broke down when she reflected on the weight of responsibility: “Making a film is not an easy thing. And headlining a film as a woman and putting it forward to people is not an easy thing.” The film’s director, Praveen Kandregula, and producer offered their support as Anupama wiped away tears.
