Harish Shankar has moved to end speculation about his next project after reports claimed he would team up with actors Vijay Deverakonda, Salman Khan and Ravi Teja. In a post on his X account, the director wrote, “The various news items about my next project are purely speculative. I will personally share the details at the right time through an official announcement. For now, my team and I are completely immersed in UBS.”
The clarification follows a series of online reports suggesting possible collaborations, including with producers Dil Raju and Ravi Teja, Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Vijay Deverakonda under Sithara Entertainments. Shankar stressed that none of these claims were based on confirmed information.
Meanwhile, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, has entered the post-production stage. The film recently wrapped its climax sequence and a song. Its producers, Mythri Movie Makers, posted, “Ustaad Bhagat Singh editing in full swing. The man Harish Shankar presents POWER STAR in the best way. You are all in for a massive feast.”
Despite his responsibilities as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan has continued to balance political duties with filming commitments. Sreeleela plays the female lead, with music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Ayananka Bose, and editing by Ujjwal Kulkarni. Action sequences are choreographed by Ram-Laxman, while Anand Sai serves as production designer.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s screenplay is written by K Dasharath, with additional writing by Chandra Mohan. The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar. Harish’s last release was Mr. Bachchan, the remake of Raid, which got a negative reception from audiences.
