Naresh Agastya’s upcoming film Meghalu Cheppina Prema Katha, billed as a romantic drama, is slated for a theatrical release on August 22. The film will clash against Praveen Kandregula’s Paradha. Meanwhile, the makers have been consistently releasing songs from their film.
The latest single of the film was released on Friday. Composed by Justin Prabhakaran, ‘Saage Nade’ is a stunning composition, offering a range of musical styles. What starts as a slow, meditative song about love and melancholy goes on to assume grand proportions with an impressive use of rock music elements and rousing strings’ section (Budapest Scoring Orchestra scored and arranged by Beven Elankumaran). Peter Illeyni is the conductor.
‘Saage Nade’ also brings out a different style for Anurag Kulkarni who brings great yearning with his vocals. Krishna Kanth has penned the lyrics.
Written and directed by Vipin, Meghalu Cheppina Prema Katha marks the debut for Rabiya Khatoon. The ensemble cast includes prominent actors like Suman, Aamani, Tulasi, Tanikella Bharani, Radhika Sarathkumar, Harshavardhan, Venkatesh Kakumanu and Nagi Jabardasth among many others.
The romantic drama is produced by Uma Devi Kota who has also worked on the film as a co-writer and costumer designer. In the direction department, AV Ratnam is credited as co-director, while Prraneeth Battu is the chief associate director. Thota Tharani helms production design and Mohana Krishna is the cinematographer. Editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh.
