Aadi Sai Kumar’s next is a supernatural horror thriller titled Shambhala: A Mystical World

Actor Aadi Sai Kumar’s next project now has a title, Shambhala: A Mystical World. The film is billed as a supernatural horror thriller that is set to blend elements of science fiction with mystical elements. The thriller also stars Anandhi in the lead role. 

Making the film’s announcement, the makers released the first concept poster and wrote, “When science meets the supernatural, the truth is more terrifying than fiction." The poster depicts a quiet village with no people, beneath a serene sky hinting at a mysterious event about to happen. There's also a demon face hiding in the clouds, implying that it's a world of supernatural forces. 

Shambhala is bankrolled by  Rajasekhar Annabhimoju and Mahidhar Reddy under the banner of Shining Pictures which marks their first production. Aadi Saikumar is going to play the role of a geo-scientist and the makers confidently say that it’s a subject never touched before in Indian cinema. The director Ugandhar Muni, hailing from New York Film Academy, had his first feature outing with the thriller A (Ad Infinitum) (2021) starring Nithin Prasanna and Preethi Asrani. The film grabbed attention for its unique psychological concept. 

Sriram Madduri, a music composer who has collaborated with legendary Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer, is composing the film's music. Shambhala is set to go on floors soon.
