New posters of Rashmika Mandanna starrer The Girlfriend out

The makers of Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film The Girlfriend unveiled their first set of posters on Friday, on the occasion of Rashmika’s birthday. The Girlfriend is being produced by Geetha Arts, and Allu Aravind is presenting the film.

Taking to their social media page to unveil the new posters, the banner penned in their post, “Her eyes smile before she does. And they speak the words that she won't. Introducing The Girlfriend.” Rahul Ravindran, who has previously made films like Chi La Sow (2018) and Manmudhudu 2 (2019), is the writer and director for The Girlfriend. Yesterday, Rahul shared an update about the film’s teaser release, informing that they are planning a special event to launch the teaser, where Rashmika will interact with her fans.

The film also stars Dheekshith Shetty as the male lead. Hesham Abdul Wahab has been signed as the music director for The Girlfriend. Krishnan Vasant is the cinematographer, and Chota K Prasad is the editor. Dheeraj Moglineni and Vidya Koppineedi serve as the producers. 

The Girlfriend is being planned as a pan-India film, slated to release in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada as well. The makers have not announced a tentative release plan for their film yet.
