Meesaya Murukku 2 box office day 2: The latest film from Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, Meesaya Murukku 2, saw an increase in box office performance on the second day of its theatrical run. Adhi, who made his directorial debut with Meesaya Murukku (2017), returns to helm the sequel too.
According to box office tracker Sacnilk, the film has collected Rs 4.60 crores (nett) on the second day of its theatrical run. With the film collection Rs 3.30 crores (nett) on day 1, the total India collections of the film comes to Rs 7.90 crores (nett) and Rs 9.25 crores (gross), at the India box office.
Adhi who serves as a writer, composer, and lyricist on the film, also headlines the cast, which includes Ketika Sharma, Chaithra J Achar, Ramya Ranganathan, Baba Baskar, Harshath Khan, Nasser, and Karunaas. The film is explores the struggles of three musicians over different time periods as they fight societal limits to establish their footing.
