Sardar 2 box office day 3: On the third day of its theatrical run, Sardar 2, the Karthi led spy actioner has collected more than Rs 2 crores. The actor returns in dual roles, as the titular spy and his police officer sun, from the 2022 film Sardar.
According to box office tracker Sacnilk, Sardar 2 has collected Rs 2.20 crores (nett) on day three. It collected Rs 4.50 crores (nett) on day one and went on to collect Rs 2.45 crores on day two. Sardar 2 has collected Rs 9.15 crores (nett) and Rs 10.75 crores (gross) in India.
The film has also collected Rs 3.50 crores (gross) overseas, bringing the worldwide collections to Rs 14.25 crores (gross).
Sardar 2 follows the titular spy, who teams up with his son Vijay Prakash, to bring down the Black Dagger organisation, and the bio-weapon that emboldens them
The cast of the film includes Malavika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath, Yogi Babu, Achyuth Kumar, Balaji Sakthivel, and Rajisha Vijayan.
CE's review of the film reads, "Sardar 2 offers a number of such charming moments, ideas, themes, and scenes. And yet, it suffers from an interesting problem of excess. It is a gladiator match between several promising ideas where everyone struggles to come out on top."
