

Actor-politician Khusbhu Sundar is all set to make her return to television, this time with to a very familiar space with the reality TV game-show, Jackpot. Jaya TV's revival of one of its iconic shows is set to premiere tonight at 8 pm.
Jackpot began airing in 2002, and was one of Khushbu's first forays into television. This also made the actor one of the earliest members of cinema to venture into cinema. While other actors were considered for hosting, Khushbu, who wasn't familiar with Tamil, learnt to read and speak the language in just three months in preparation for the show.
While the initial run of the show completed in 2010, social media users revisited the show with clips from Jackpot making the rounds, which propogated the network to revive the show.
Jackpot will continue to air on Jaya TV, similar to its initial run. It will air every Sunday at 8 pm on the channel.
While the game-show will retain its original format of teams competing in multiple rounds, an exclusive AI powered round is also added to the new run.
On the cinematic front, Khushbu will star in Jr NTR-Prashanth Neel's Dragon. She will also be a part of the Kannada film Birbal Triology: Case 2.
