The first single from Arya's 40th film, Hello Kadhal, titled 'Kannum Kannum', was unveiled on Friday. Composed by GV Prakash, the romantic single has vocals by Kapil Kapilan and Sivaangi, who have crooned Vivek's verses. The video song features Arya and Nikhila Vimal as a married couple, enjoying marital bliss whilst also supporting each other's dreams.
The upcoming film is directed by Nikhil Muraly, who has previously helmed Pranaya Vilasam (2023), starring Arjun Ashokan, Mamitha Baiju and Anaswara Rajan. Hello Kadhal is also releasing in Telugu as Hello Prema, and it credits filmmaker Halitha Shameem with additional screenplay and Tamil dialogues. Nikhil has reunited with his Pranaya Vilasam writers Sunu AV and Jyothish M. The film also stars Vaishnavi Chaitanya opposite Arya and Nikhila Vimal.
The film’s technical crew comprises composer GV Prakash Kumar, who has worked with Arya in Madrasapattinam and Raja Rani; cinematographer Jeeva Sankar; editor Binu Nepolean; and stunt choreographer Stunt Silva. Hello Kadhal is produced by The Show People banner and the Silver Grain Pictures banner. The film is set for a theatrical release on December 4.
