Suriya's upcoming film Scene and Dhanush's next, Om, are set to hit theatres in November. While the Jithu Madhavan directorial venture is set for a November 06 release, filmmaker Rajkumar Periasamy's next outing is scheduled to hit theatres two weeks after that. However, the second singles from both films will release on October 19, coinciding with Ayudha Pooja.
The second song from Scene is titled 'AeroPlane' and is composed by Sushin Shyam, and it is set to drop at 6:00 pm tomorrow. On the other hand, the track from Om is named 'Veezha Veera' and is composed by young sensation Sai Abhyankkar. While its producer, Dhanush's own Wunderbar Films banner, is yet to announce the time of the song's release, the makers promise "absolutely wild stuff from Sai Abhyankkar". In the caption for the song release announcement post, the makers hyped it up, saying, "Get your speakers ready to sing 'Vaa Veera'.
It is worth noting that an excerpt from 'Veezha Veera' has already been used in the recently released glimpse video from Om. The upcoming film also stars Mammootty in an important role, marking his return to Tamil cinema since 2019's Peranbu. The cast includes Sai Pallavi, Sreeleela, Naseeruddin Shah, and Indrans, among others.
Coming back to Scene, it marks Suriya's 47th film in his career and the actor's first collaboration with Romancham and Aavesham director Jithu Madhavan. The upcoming film, which marks Jithu Madhavan's Tamil debut, also stars Nazriya Nazim and Naslen in important roles. Suriya produces the film with wife Jyotika under their Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment banners.
The first song from Scene offered a first look at Nazriya Nazim's character in the film. On the other hand, the makers of Om have already dropped two pieces of music, including a song titled 'Alaakaa Loova' and a Mammootty character introduction video titled 'Siya Entry'.
