Over the years, actors Urvashi and Jayaram have enthralled audiences with their performances in Tamil and Malayalam languages. Together, they have acted in over 25 films. After a long hiatus of over two decades, the iconic pair are set to entertain audiences in director Pandiraaj's upcoming film Parimala and Co.

Expressing happiness on reuniting with Jayaram on screen, Urvashi said, "It's been over 20 years since we collaborated together. After Panchatanthiram (2002), we were only able to join hands for the anthology Putham Pudhu Kaalai. But it was only a day's work. Later, we listened to many stories. But our interests differed. He liked some films and I liked some other. We would discuss about it and Jayaram would say that the film doesn't challenge us and present us in a different way."

Explaining how they agreed to do Parimala and Co, Urvashi shared, "I have a lot of respect for the writer inside Pandiraaj. I have seen most of films from Pasanga. He takes a lot of time to work to enhance the script. Usually people say the Malayalam industry creates many quality films that take less time to shoot. Even now that happens. But I finished working on this film faster than I would for a Malayalam film."
