Selvaraghavan is set to star in a film that is written and directed by Sriikanth Hunsur, known for his Kannada debut S/o of Muthanna. Announced in February this year, the film is produced by Shantha Murthy under the Sri Purathana Film Productions banner. The film marks the production banner's first project in Tamil cinema.
On Monday and Tuesday, the makers announced two new cast members for the film. Joining Selvaraghavan on the project are actors Abhinaya and child actor Anam Kaur. While Abhinaya is known for her roles in Naadodigal and Pani, among other films, Anam recently starred in Dacoit, featuring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. Welcoming both actors to the project, the makers wrote, "Really happy to work with you and looking forward to a great journey together."
The upcoming film brings Sriikanth Hunsur back together with his S/o of Muthanna banner Sri Purathana Film Productions. The makers are yet to reveal plot specifics, but the film is set to explore aspects of the justice system. Announcing the project back in February, they shared a Lady Justice photograph and wrote in the caption, "The system needs to be reactivated and the chains need to be untightened."
On the technical front, the yet-to-be-titled film has cinematography by Skating Krishna and music by Charan Raj. The makers are yet to disclose further information about the film, including its title, story and release date.
Selvaraghavan's upcoming films also include 7G Rainbow Colony 2 and Mental Manadhil, where he is onboard as the director, and Love Oh Love, where he stars alongside his nephew Pavish.
