On Tuesday, we reported about the passing of filmmaker RB Choudhary of Super Good Films. Many actors and other film personalities from Tamil cinema and beyond paid their last respects to the veteran filmmaker on Wednesday. Actor Rajinikanth also paid homage to Choudhary.

Speaking to the media during his visit, Rajinikanth revealed that Choudhary visited his Jailer 2 set four months back and expressed his desire to do a film with him, which would have marked the filmmaker's 100th film. The Superstar said that while he never worked with Choudhary, the filmmaker is his close friend.

Rajinikanth also said that Choudhary wanted to retire after the landmark 100th film, featuring the actor in the lead role. The filmmaker told Rajinikanth that he had some stories in mind for the Superstar and asked him to listen to them. "I told him that I would do it 100 per cent," the actor said about the potential collaboration with RB Choudhary.

"Two months before, KS Ravikumar told me that Choudhary sir had created many directors and that all of them should give him a grand send-off. He is a great man, who has brought many directors, saved the industry and gave jobs to several technicians in it," Rajinikanth said.

The actor added that none of Choudhary's 99 films faced any major issues. "Even if those issues arose, he would directly visit the team member/s concerned at their residence and directly settle them and would comeback after having coffee there. He is such a tactical man," Rajinikanth recalled.

The Superstar underscored the personal attributes that made the filmmaker standout, especially his hard working nature, honesty, belief in God, and ability to stay fresh and happy always. "I asked him how he stayed so healthy and happy, and he said, 'I don't take risks. I know my capacity and would make films within it. After making the film, I would leave the rest to God and would plan the next move.' He is such a wonderful soul and producer."

The actor also expressed his sadness about the filmmaker's untimely demise and offered his condolences to his near and dear ones.
