Rajinikanth has taken to social media to convey his condolences for producer RB Choudhary, who passed away in Rajasthan. The veteran producer, who has produced close to 100 films, passed away due to a car crash.

Taking to his X handle, Rajinikanth wrote, "My dear friend, Super Good Films RB Choudhary is a top-notch producer. A wonderful human being. He has given opportunities to countless young directors and kept the film world alive."

"His untimely death news has left me in great shock and immense sorrow. My deepest condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace," wrote Rajinikanth.

Starting his career in 1988, RB Choudhary went on to produce films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. His collaborations with Sarath Kumar, Vijay, and Venkatesh have been well received by audiences across languages.

He has been a recipient of seven Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and four Cinema Express Awards.

RB Choudhary's sons Jiiva and Jithan Ramesh are established actors in Tamil cinema.
