Actor Milind Soman, who plays a key role opposite Vijay Sethupathi in the upcoming project Muthu Engira Kaattaan from director M Manikandan, has shared his working experience with the actor on the sets of the web series.

Heaping praise on the actor, Milind spoke about Vijay's humility and noted that he is "extremely accessible."

"I had liked the story, and had liked my character as well, but more, I liked the fact that the show was with Vijay Sethupathi," he said, adding, "Vijay makes everything so comfortable. He’s so accessible. You can talk to him about anything. And even within the scene, when you are working, there is no tension or coldness. He's just so easy to work with."

Talking about working with the Kaattaan team, Milind said, "Everybody wants to just collaborate and make something good. So the environment automatically becomes so smooth and easy."

With Muthu Engira Kaattaan, Vijay Sethupathi reunites with director M Manikandan, who has also created the series, after Aandavan Kattalai (2016) and Kadaisi Vivasayi (2022). Milind plays Sivettan, a powerful and influential figure within the world of the series.

The recently-released trailer shows a town where a police station is about to close due to a lack of cases. Right then, they find a bodyless head, in the wilderness. The trailer hints at the head belonging to a mysterious man, who has worked in a smuggling ring, and in a dance troupe, and as a watch mechanic. Unable to close the police station, the officers struggle to find the body of Kaattaan and the reason for his death.

B Ajithkumar serves as a director on the series, is also on board as an editor. The rest of the crew includes Madhu Neelakandan as the director of photography, Jacki and Sabu Mohan as the art directors.

Muthu Engira Kaattaan also features Sudev Nair, Vadivel Murugan, Risha Jacobs, VJ Paaru, Kalaivani Bhaskar, and Muthukumar, among its cast. Vijay Sethupathi is producing the series under his namesake banner. The series is set to premiere on JioHotstar on March 27.
