JioHotstar has released the official trailer for the Vijay Sethupathi-starrer, Muthu Engira Kaattaan. The upcoming seriesis set to premiere on March 27.

The trailer is shows a town where a police station is about to close due to a lack of cases. Right then, they find a bodyless head, in the wilderness. The trailer hints at the head belonging to a mysterious man, who has worked in a smuggling ring, and in a dance troupe, and as a watch mechanic. The trailer hints at the film unraveling the story of the man.

Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Muthu Engira Kaattaan gets March release; teaser unveiled

Vijay Sethupathi reunites with director M Manikandan, who has also created the series, after Aandavan Kattalai (2016) and Kadaisi Vivasayi (2022). B Ajithkumar serves as a director on the series, is also on board as an editor. The rest of the crew includes Madhu Neelakandan as the director of photography, Jacki and Sabu Mohan as the art directors.

Muthu Engira Kaattaan features Milind Soman, Sudev Nair, Vadivel Murugan, Risha Jacobs, VJ Paaru, Kalaivani Bhaskar, and Muthukumar, among its cast. Vijay Sethupathi is producing the series under his namesake banner.
