Thaai Kizhavi box office day 12: The Radikaa Sarathkumar headlined comedy, Thaai Kizhavi, has crossed the Rs 45 crores mark at the Indian box office. The film is backed by Sivakarthikeyan under his namesake productions alongside Passion Studios.
On day 12 of its theatrical run, the film collected Rs 1.9 crores nett, according to box office tracker Sacnilk. On the second weekend of its run, the film collected Rs 9.6 crores, and entered another week by collecting Rs 2.45 crores on Monday.
Thaai Kizhavi opened strongly by collecting Rs 2.65 crores and went on to collect Rs 11.15 crores on its opening weekend. The film performed stably throughout the week, not falling below Rs 1.4 crores mark in single day collections.
As of Day 12, the film has collected Rs 45.15 crores nett, at the Indian box office.
Thaai Kizhavi follows a family who scrambles to find a hidden treasure after the matriarch gets afflicted by an illness. The film also features Singam Puli, Arul Doss, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Ilavarasu, George Maryan, Muthukumar, Raichal Rabecca, among others, in its cast.
