Actor Trisha recently took to social media to address comments made against her. The actor's reply comes after actor R Parthiban made comments against Trisha in a recent event.
When asked about Trisha, his co-star in the Ponniyin Selvan films, Parthiban mentioned that she should stay at home and should not be allowed outside, so that certain issues would not surface.
Through her X handle, Trisha wrote, "I was informed by the organisers of a recent event that my name and picture were included at the last minute at the request of an individual conveyed through his assistant."
She also added, "A microphone doesn’t make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity louder. Crude words without knowledge say more about the speaker than the person they’re aimed at."
Actor Vijay who is currently in the middle of a legal divorce proceedings from his wife Sankgeetha, has been accused of being in an extra marital affair with an actress, as mentioned by a petition filed by Sankgeetha. While it is not confirmed that Trisha is the actress mentioned, rumours flooding social media point towards Trisha as the actress mentioned. At a recent wedding ceremony, Trisha and Vijay were spotted together, after the rumours started to arise. While Parthiban did not mention the speculated relationship, his comments have faced backlash.
