GV Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar-starrer Immortal, directed by Mariyappan Chinna, will get a theatrical release on July 23. The makers announced on Monday. The film wrapped production this May.
While the plot details are under wraps, the film is expected to follow GV Prakash's character, who gets haunted by a monster after attempting to get close to his neighbour (Kayadu Lohar), a woman of his dreams. The cast of Immortal also includes TM Karthik, Kumar Natarajan, Lollu Sabha Maaran, Aaditya Kathir, Arshu Maharjan, Pema Tsamchoe, and Sunita Shrestha.
Sam CS has composed music for the film, continuing his collaboration with GV Prakash after Siren (2024) and Blackmail (2025). The rest of the technical crew includes Arun Radhakrishnan as the director of photography, Rajesh M as the editor, Siva Sankar as the art director, and R Sakthi Saravanan as the stunt choreographer.
Arunkumar Dhanasekaran has produced the film under his AK Film Factory banner.
