A day after Vijay's farewell film Jana Nayagan hit theatres worldwide, actor Jai met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister at his office and extended his heartfelt wishes for a successful tenure. He also gifted him a plant as a symbol of growth and their friendship.
He posted photos from their meet and said, "Good things take time.. Great things choose their time."
Reflecting on the interaction, Jai said, "It was a warm and welcoming meeting with my brother. I'm grateful for the time we spent together and wish him good health, strength, and continued success in serving the people of Tamil Nadu."
For the unversed, Jai had extended support for Vijay and his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam throughout the campaign for the recently-held state assembly elections where his party emerged as the single largest party, winning 108 out of 234 seats.
Interestingly, Jai began his career with Bagavathi (2002), where he played a supporting role as the younger version of actor Vijay's character. He had also played Vijay's fan in his latest film Sattendru Maarudhu Vaanilai, directed by Babu Vijay.
On the work front, Jai will next be seen playing the lead along with noted Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramudu in director Aishwarya Rajinikanth's upcoming film Texla.
