In the film, Y Gee Mahendra is a veteran Carnatic musician whose Alzheimer's and a prodigal son are some of the many challenges he faces. He is advised by a stranger, played by Sathyaraj, on how to build an enduring legacy.

Produced by R Arun, the film is made under the Suresh Krissna Productions Private Limited, Arun Visualz and Madras Cine Production banners.
An excerpt from CE's review of the film reads, "Nevertheless, music composer Deva delves fully into the Carnatic style and creates uniquely melodic tunes that carry the film. Deva is aided by an enigmatic Shankar Mahadevan, as the singing voice of Charukesi. The singer elevates the composer's tunes by adding his own layers that elevate the film's dramatic nature."
The technical team of the film comprises music composer Deva, Pa Vijay as dialogue writer and lyricist, cinematographer Sanjay, editor Richard and Shankar Mahadevan for vocals. The film is based on the story penned by Venkat and the screenplay by Suresh Krissna.
