

Actor-turned-chief minister Vijay's son, Jason Sanjay, is all set to make his directorial debut with Sigma. While the film is gearing up for release later this month, the film's lead actor, Sundeep Kishan, shared an update with fans across his social media on Wednesday.
Sharing unseen behind-the-scenes photos with Jason Sanjay, Sundeep Kishan shared an update about Sigma on X. "And it’s a wrap for my dub in #Sigma," he said, announcing that the actor has officially completed dubbing for the film.
Described as a high-stakes heist film, Sigma is backed by Lyca Productions. The film also stars Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, Shiv Panditt, Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee, Magalakshmi, Sheela Rajkumar, Kamalesh, and Kiran Konda. Kaleel Raja, Sanjeev S, and Ajaiy Ashok are credited as its additional screenplay writers.
Recently, writer-director Jason revealed that his directorial venture offers a blend of action, comedy, treasure hunts, and heists, which contributes to a highly energetic cinematic experience. Reportedly, the film will revolve around a rogue treasure hunter who breaks every rule in pursuit of the ultimate score, navigating deadly traps and double-crosses with wit and audacity in this adrenaline-fuelled adventure.
Sigma has been shot across locations such as Chennai, Thailand, Thalakona, and Salem, among others. On the technical front, the film has music by Thaman S, cinematography by Krishnan Vasant, editing by Praveen KL, and stunts by Venkat and Selva. The film is gearing up for release on July 31.
Meanwhile, Sundeep Kishan will next be seen in Super Subbu, directed by Tillu Square-fame director Mallik Ram. It is slated for release on Netflix on July 2. In the pipeline, the actor also has Powerpeta and Vibe in various stages of production.
