In the isolated North Indian hamlet of Mangalpur, Arjun Acharya, a guy in his late 30s who is struggling financially, unexpectedly inherits his grandfather's enormous family house, Acharya Niwas. Arjun intends to hold his sister Meera's long-delayed wedding in the palace because he sees a chance to turn his life around. But a terrible curse has taken hold of the community. Arjun continues with the wedding preparations, dismissing it as superstition, only to come across progressively ominous strange occurrences inside the palace. As the truth about Acharya Niwas starts to come to light, Arjun has to face a much more formidable foe in order to keep his family safe and avoid the wedding that would end their lives.
