In a video note that he shared on his X handle, GV Prakash said the same and noted that he along with the Happy Raj team will continue their theatre visits across the state. The actor also reflected on the success of the Ken Karunaas-directorial. "Grateful to the universe. What a March," he wrote.
Directed by debutant Maria Raja Elanchezian, Happy Raj, released on March 27, also stars Sri Gouri Priya and George Maryan, with Abbas making a comeback after a long sabbatical. It follows Anandraj aka Happy Raj (GV Prakash), a young man weighed down by his father’s social stigma, who struggles with isolation and rejection in both life and love. As their relationship deepens, the prospect of marriage brings their contrasting worlds into conflict. What follows is a clash shaped by class differences, cultural gaps, and the search for dignity.
On the other hand, Youth, released on March 19, revolves around Praveen (Ken), a high-schooler who falls in love with three women: Anshima Anilkumar, Meenakshi Dinesh and Priyanshi Yadav. The resultant chaos and comedy that unfolds, forms the core of the film. It also stars Devadarshini and Suraj Venjaramoodu, among others.
