On Saturday, tragedy shook Karur as over 38 people succumbed to a stampede, while 150 others were hospitalised after gathering to attend actor and politician Vijay’s conference in the district. Following the stampede, many celebrities took to social media and reacted to the news. Some were aghast by the news, while others offered their deepest condolences to the families of the victims.
